BREAKING: Our client Mario Guevara, an Emmy-winning journalist detained by ICE in retaliation for livestreaming law enforcement activity, will be deported tomorrow to El Salvador.

Mario and his family are being punished for his reporting. This cruelty is meant to stifle our free press.

Apple's blue text exclusivity is anti-competitive and creates unnecessary barriers. A universal messaging interface would benefit everyone and make iMessage genuinely useful for cross-platform communication.

I *almost* posted to Bluesky but then quickly realized it’s not as fun if the brand isn’t on the platform.

Only one of those sites shows impressions. All those dead followers were dead when @jack-o was president.

We have 6% of the followers here compared to the 100k in X. The vite 6.0 announcement in bluesky already got half the reposts and a third of the likes. And most of the comments and quotes from OSS maintainers happened here. I don't know about other communities, but OSS web dev is a bluesky game now.

should have just bought btc instead. the tide is lifting “all boats” as they say.

Me, however, will not be brushing up on Go. I will need a full matrix injection into my neuro usb port so I have the knowledge and wisdom at once.

As a JavaScript developer, we do not make time to learn real langs.

Is this what tagging people on the “distributed” social networks will look like?

It’s like an email address expecting an empty/null value for the addressee and put that as a subdomain instead.

And, thus, if we really want that, let just do it for email and condense the surface area to dev. toward

I can’t knock this because I do not know.

But why can’t OO get over defining and instantiating to insanity.

Though elegant and pretty, I don’t think this view state is clear at all.

Okay this is the #SwiftUI I like. A clear defined ViewState, and some extension to deal with network and data.

Dear Jeff,

Cocoa is not anything to do with the hot steam extracted Cocoa. I searched that originally and bought this thinking that’s what it was.

Thank you,

We’ve had clean burning fuels for a while. Yet we still buy Fiats and Priuses… is Consumer really that distinguished from the policies itself?
