I love dogs.
I can't think of a single mammal I dislike, I'm at least fond of all chordates, and there are quite a few plants, fungi, and works of art I could not live without; but I really love dogs.
It's unexpectedly difficult to take a good action shot of two dogs low-energy wrestling. If you want a play by play, you'll either have to trust the narrative described in the alt text or use your imagination.

One of the silliest things about getting weller after being suicidally depressed for 30 years is the conversation you have with everyone you want to thank for little the ways they really helped you out, 10-15 years ago.

"Why are you bringing that up NOW? Should I be worried?"
"Not anymore, but..."

Nobody here knows me, so it's safe to shout into this particular void before I tell my mother.

I got engaged last week. We've been together 11 years anyway, but I'm still giddy.

He doesn't like his face on the internet, so we compromised.

He'd be funny even if he weren't cute. Kenshiro's a expressive contortionist and takes what he wants, damned what the rest of us think.
But it really helps that he's cute.

I should really take more pictures of Kenshiro. He's pretty handsome.

"The only other things she had were her memories, and losing those might well be a blessing. How long could a person mourn, anyway?
"She laughed, a sour, sad laugh 'How long? For the rest of a lifetime, of course,' she told the sleeping dog."

Two wood trolls I found while walking the dogs today. Mother and child?

The best of all possible dogs, the apex of canine evolution, what mankind originally dreamed of when we first domesticated the wolf, and, indeed, the reason humans made the US so comfortable a place that even a talentless failson like myself could give him a comfortable home - Destin
