First attempts at #streetphotography

I was pretty far away from the couple, but I thought the framing was kinda neat. Eventually, I'd like to build up the courage to do street portraiture. I think this couple would have been perfect for it.

More black and white.

I’m going to start a 30 day photo challenge in April to help build my skills and understanding since I am very much new to the craft.

Any #photography folks out there with suggestions on how to structure it?

Mourning Dove. Besides their distinct call, they are known for making terrible nests.

They are capable of drinking brackish water (almost half the salinity of sea water) which helps them survive in harsh desert environments.

Gila Woodpecker - they normally build their nests inside saguaro cactus. Fun fact, abandoned woodpecker holes serve as homes for elf owls in the desert.

This is garden cress, or “poor man’s pepper.” An annual ‘weed’ that is totally edible and tastes like spicy kale.

My new favorite genre of book is "Anthropomorphic animals live simple and fulfilling lives"

Frog and Toad, Cornbread and Poppy, Skiddycock Pond. It's all pretty idyllic.
