If you are a Republican wanting a photo-op you get a VIP visit to the prisons. If you are a Dem asking about someone wrongly jailed, you are turned away.

Imagine if there were a place you could present evidence and someone could decide if you were right
UPDATE: Bondi released what she touted as new evidence against Mr. Abrego Garcia. It's not new. It's the gang worksheet from the disgraced cop in 2019.

But it does explain this ridiculous claim by Tricia McLaughlin. She... thought a picture on a hoodie was the same thing as rolls of actual cash.

They've called him a human trafficker, a violent criminal, a convicted gang member... and they refuse to give you even a SINGLE piece of evidence!

Bondi even suggests here ALL they have is the gang worksheet from 2019 filled out by a disgraced cop caught selling secrets for sex!

Any Democratic politician who doesn't understand Nayib Bukele's grave offense against the sovereignty of the American people and constitutional order and say as much publicly should have no future in elected office. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/bukel...

Presumably this will limit the ability of these firms to do the pro bono work they typically do (say, representing asylum seekers)? It's annoying (I assume by design) that these deals are in terms of $ when firms use hours. How many hours will this require lawyers to work in service of dear leader?

Before folks overreact to headlines about the judge’s ruling in the Khalil case, please note that (1) it was an immigration judge (IJ), not a federal district court; and (2) the IJ had no power to consider Khalil’s constitutional objections.

This particular decision was a fait accompli.

Adolf Hitler's “Mein Kampf” is still on U.S. Naval Academy shelves. “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” and “Memorializing the Holocaust” are not.

An order by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s office led to a purge of books that are critical of racism — but preserved volumes defending white power.

Also note that the Court’s delay on acting on the petition means the lower court’s deadline has passed - allowing the govt to draw out disagreement about what they can or can’t do
