I’m not critiquing your thesis (in fact, I agree almost 100%). I just found it a deeply un-engaging article that didn’t say much at all. I did really like the blurb where you explained why contracts like Canó’s are great value for teams. A whole piece on that point would’ve been more interesting.
I’m not looking to single out this commenter. They don’t care for the post and that’s fine. But really, yes, it is that simple. That is the point.

This is fundamentally why this capitulation or compromise game doesn't work. The anti trans side doesn't want some "reasonable" compromise on sports or other issues.
They see trans people as less than human who should be eradicated from society. You can't compromise with that.
