I couldn't be more excited to see "Kufre n Quay" later this month. Levi Mngomezulu, who is playing Kufre, has been one of our son's best friends since first grade and I have watched his theatrical growth over those years. I'm sure he will absolutely shine. www.bostonglobe.com/2025/07/02/a...

For my book I’m looking to interview people who have an experience of “the danger of a single story.” Have you had an experience where you felt reduced to one storyline, maybe some category (race, gender, sexuality, etc.), or some other thing that seemed to trump everything else about you?

As many of you know, I’ve spent this sabbatical year working on a book project. I’m thrilled to announce that, as of yesterday, I officially have a contract with @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social’s @avery-books.bsky.social imprint to publish the book!

Check out this commentary I co-wrote with the equally legendary @tedmond.bsky.social. I’m super proud of it.
New commentary in American Psychologist with the legendary @jadler.bsky.social on posttraumatic growth: why all parts of it can use some revision (like those suggested by others in this issue!), and why it's a fool's errand to predict PTG before it happens.
