The thing about social media that is most overwhelming for me is the never-ending stream of hate-sharing. It's not hate coming from the people posting it but rather people feeling obligated in some way to re-share/re-post the hate many world leaders are projecting. It perpetuates harm.

Attended a hot chocolate and book swap event at work over the lunch hour. Everyone was invited to bring a couple of books to swap. Hot chocolate, tea and other treats were brought in by mgt. Highly recommend! A nice mix-n-mingle for the workplace.

Actually made the comparison today that chocolate and peppermint eggnog are like mixing grape juice with tomato juice. They're gross together but delicious on their own. There's just no need to do it.

I booked an HPV exam at my doctor's which they said would be done by a nurse practitioner/discussed not needing to see Dr. Show up for my appt, the Dr. walks in -- I'm surprised to see him. My booking was wrong and the nurse couldn't fit me in. 😡
