Usually roll my eyes at the ‘sportzball is dumb idc about the superb owl’ people but this year more than ever I kinda get it.
Hoping the Seahawks win, though because I have an annoying cousin who keeps crying about how it’s all rigged and ‘the script’ says the Pats will win.

Life update wife got me a white monster for which I was super thankful and it is way better than I remember. I get all the memes now.

I think Sonic Adventure 2 is ‘better’ than Adventure 1, but something about the first 20 or so minutes of Adventure 1 just feels so nostalgic. I get emotional hearing the music of Emerald Coast 1 and 2, Tails’ theme, and Windy Valley 1 and 3.

Watching through Castlevania. I remember hearing people raving about it when it first dropped. First two seasons are baller but the third season just kind of feels like filler. And WTF was that Alucard story?

Love looking at the Carnivore Diet subreddit and seeing people post about their incredibly high LDL, constipation, etc. and wondering why they’re so messed up. And the comments are just like ‘well you probably are still eating fruits and vegetables’ or ‘drink some bacon grease’ or whatever.

Eagles’ season highlight for me was listening to their 83-year-old radio commentator Merrill Reese crash out and say that he wanted to do “a one and a half gainer into the lower bowl” due to the heinous refball during the Broncos game in October.

Life update I’ve kind of circled back to ‘regular’ lifting these past few months but with a little more focus on mobility and stretching. Definitely need to do more yoga and less superfluous eating in 2026.
I’m most excited for the stretching and core focus that a program like this brings. After years of basically ‘just’ lifting, I feel like a sack of worn, knotted sinew. Want to address that as I proceed deeper into “the wrong side of 30.”
Life update, P90X is my official hyperfixation of the month. Two days into P90X3 and I am feeling the nostalgic aches in my abs. Hoping to become a beast with the 30-min workouts on top of some regular lifting and rucking.

When I played MGS2 as a kid, I wasn't as jaded as many other fans were; I thought the Raiden character switch stuff was pretty cool.
What really ticked me off was when Substance came out and the 'Snake Tales' were just random non-canon stories told through text.

I have a deep nostalgia I have for the original P90X videos. Take me back to young adulthood to my buddy’s basement with worn couches, a DVD player, and a giant wood panel CRT tv, or to the time I did Kenpo X in the attic of a garbage truck garage with my cousin. Core memories.
