Annoying that it’s a paywalled article when he only has 673 subscribers. Perhaps if this is a message which needs sharing widely - which it does - he could mark it more readily accessible to people. Just as @quietriotpod.bsky.social do with their podcast. Disappointing

And in July 100k people marched (peacefully) at London Trans Pride and it barely got a mention never mind live second by second coverage as fascists try to intimidate people.

I am saddened to read this. Hope you stay safe through all this. Although, even as a woman, I have rarely felt what you describe, I have a trans child and trans friends so feel it through them and my fear for them the threat which is no longer beneath the surface but very much out in the open.

Great episode btw. You are about the k my political podcast giving this the airtime and due consideration it deserves. And who actually seem to have a real grasp as to what is going on. Thank you for not shying away from it as other political podcasts do

Brilliant. I was going to post and ask you after listening to podcast today. Any chance you could mention it as a call to action in an upcoming episode with a link to the letter please? 🙏🏻 we need more signatures now more than ever to add weight to getting g proper scrutiny of EHRC guidance. 🙏🏻

A significant tranche of voters were horrified by its anti-LGBTQ talking points. Since the election it has become the most anti-LGBTQ party in modern British history & allowed far right homophobic & transphobic hate groups to dictate policy. It is now erasing trans people from public life.
