Poor baby - I hope he perks up soon. It's awful when they get sick. I feel absolutely useless when Hillary gets ill.

No. We should always be aware that it's a risk (for any marginalised community) that our rights will be taken away from us and that's why equality has to be an ongoing project and not a campaign with an end-date.
