“The decision that we couldn’t treat these waters effectively probably made sense in 1984,” said Robert Nairn, director of the Center for Restoration of Ecosystems and Watersheds at the University of Oklahoma. “I don’t think it makes sense today. Those waters are treatable.”

🎥 FILM FINDINGS 🎥

Victor Wembanyama went absolutely nuclear on opening night. I broke down each and every one of his 15 baskets and talked through the alien-esque performance that should leave everyone in the league terrified of what's to come.

In the first game of the "Ja and Jaren season" for the Grizz, Ja scores 35 and Jaren has 18, 8 rebounds and 8 blocks

Oh and Cedric Coward really pops on the court. He made plays defensively and looks big for a perimeter guy. He didn't look small standing next to Zion

V.J. Edgecombe's 14 points in the first quarter is the most points in the first quarter of a player's debut from at least 1996 on (as far back as our quarter scoring goes).

Lebron James was the previous most with 12.

I had a lot of questions about this move. HUD doesn't know when it will happen, hasn't shared details on how it will happen, & the GSA, which manages federal properties, doesn't know where NSF staff will go. HUD wouldn't answer how much it will cost, either

I helped looking at data for this story and I cannot describe how wild it was seeing some sites only reporting only 8% population (all white)
A Streetlight investigation found EPA data excluded how many Black residents live within one mile of sites under the agency's oversight. After questions from @molliebryant.bsky.social, the EPA restored the missing numbers, calling the error a coding "bug"

I got obsessed with data in college and have always relied on it for my work. I'd never seen a government agency exclude data about an entire racial group until last week.
