First of all it's not a "distraction" that state governments are banning books.
Second, the people banning books are *also* gutting public education! It's the same fucking problem!

Okay, fuck this. All districts should pay their resident teachers AND substitute teachers a suitable living wage with benefits. This is an egregious divide-and-conquer tactic that admin should be ashamed of.
