These tarrifs have been in for a few days, and talk about the scale of them for a few weeks, but were already seeing pivots from major companies such as ASML & Samsung to China.

Well fucking done Donny /s

You built a brand new NAS w/ Nvidia GPU.

Your only requirements are ZFS*, Containerisation & Web Management and you like reliability & immutability.

What are you installing?

Fedora CoreOS?
Unraid?
Proxmox?
Other?
(TrueNAS Scale is out until they fix excessive logging impacting drive life)

Another sleepless night of insomnia with nothing but music to keep me company into the small hours, this time with the thematic highlight of Jamie Cullum's Pointless Nostalgic cover of 'In the wee small hours of the morning', which has been doing so now for nigh on two decades.

Its been a little over a month and I'm already exhausted watching Billionaire's play dress up fascists.

To think we have 4 years of this...

Its 0300 & a new band I've never heard, #LostInKiev with their song Insomnia comes on & I'm immediately in love with not only the serendipity of a track named as such at 0300, but simply with how beautiful the track is as it ebbs and flows through its 7:23 runtime.

Something interesting I noticed watching #CS2 #IEMKatowice is in the (always toxic) group chat, that the Spirit (Russian?) supporters main derogatory comment was calling teams\players 'gay'.

As saddening it is to see in 2025, honestly, it feels lazy. Trash talk better scrubs.

How disgusting, #Optus trying to charge for better QoS during network congestion rather than ensuring a network that can provide minimum speeds to paying customers in the first place.

This better not get out of beta.

Laughing my ass off about #Trump tariffs against #TSMC gifting the rest of the world an up to 100% comparative procurement advantage in cutting edge silicon.

Trump To Tariff Chips Made In Taiwan, Targeting TSMC
The tariffs would ensnare cutting-edge smartphone and PC-related chips for Apple, AMD and Nvidia if enacted. But Trump is betting his plan will bring more chip production to the US.

WTF
DHS has terminated the memberships of everyone on its advisory committees.

This includes several cyber committees, like CISA's advisory panel and the Cyber Safety Review Board, which was investigating Salt Typhoon.

That review is "dead," person familiar says.

With an isolationist agenda, as seen through things like the withdrawal from the #WHO & willingness to implement tarrifs widely, reducing demand for #USD, I do wonder if #Trump actions will see the end of the USD as the worlds reserve currency and the subsequent collapse of the US Economy from it.
