Snow day on the gulf coast!

Bear was overdue for a haircut.

I got it at the library this week!

Finally got around to @jamiebgolden.bsky.social’s #greenlight Drowning by T.J. Newman. I loved how this book started right in the middle of the action and didn’t slow down. More than just thrills, it’s also a beautiful exploration of how we hold on to grief. Can’t wait to read T.J.’s other books!

Sometimes, a few of the more friendly #turtles even try to come inside! The dogs don’t particularly like that, though.

We recently rescued a baby turtle from the pool. It had gotten trapped in the skimmer and was helplessly swirling around in the current. So tiny! 😍

My husband and I bought a house a few months ago that came with (at least) 8 #boxturtles that live in the back yard. We’ve had so much fun watching and learning about them.
