Also this is soooo cool! I wish they sold this to consumers. How sick is it that you can get a really efficient video encoder/decoder in an M.2 slot!

Operating temperature is less than 35C. Insane. Even if it doesn't beat Nvidia the power consumption alone does make it really cool.

I have to give Disqus credit. They cleanly state they track the living hell out of their users up front. Which is better than most!

Anyone ever seen an Android TV so clean and empty and not full of (Google) bloat and ads?

Gonna drive this for a while on my Pi 4GB, but I promised a friend they can have my Pi 4 a while back when they return so I have a Pi 5 on order (hence my last post).

It's actually kinda a niche utility, but no matter how niche it is, I thought it was kinda cool!

It made me happy and that's all that matters. 🤣

- Fully type safe
- AST print
- Composable

Idk if it's worth putting on npm

Did something I am kinda happy with.

I was so inspired by Drizzle's composable SQL API I decided to try and mimic it at a very basic level in my UI for conditionally displaying elements based on access levels.

Here's an example of the API for handling UI elements combining feature flags/perms:

👀👀 It's all set up!

It's working well so far. Just gotta get Fileflows to work.

Getting a label printer is already paying off for the satisfaction of knowing what all the little bags that come with my gadgets are for.

That time of year. 😊

Turned out perfect! 😁

That can't be comfortable. 😂

Git conflicts are actually kinda simple once they're surfaced. No crazy IDE logic, just 7 left chevrons, 7 equal signs, and 7 right chevrons. Always feels what the IDE does is magic. It's Git that does most of the magic!

Uhhh they didn't say on the packaging it'll suffer with depression 😭

A relative has a label printer and me and other relatives printed the word "gullible" and stuck it on the ceiling. Every time we tell someone the word gullible really is on the ceiling they never believe us. 🙄

@pfrazee.com It's sooooo minor and I hope you don't mind the tag but I noticed this tiiiiiny thing in the web app. 🤣 A very slight colour difference. Seems to appear at the fold.

Actually their name is Ben Hinderbine. Bloody drivers can't listen.

Yeeears ago I had a mild argument on Twitter (I hope I've outgrown internet arguments now 🙄) about the value of Google Stadia. My point aged well!

Following up on my word

I think... I might delete LinkedIn.

Anyone who works with electronic components, I bought this riser cable but idk if it's ok? 😂 See how the gold fingers look connected together by a gold strip? I wonder what's going on. This apparently passed QC but I can't use it yet.

This is my homelab so far! 😄
September 7, 2025 at 11:53 AM
Just for temporary testing I have it all rigged up. There's only 1x8GB stick of RAM so ZFS is holding on for dear life 🤣

It's my very old i7 6700k board I forgot I had!

Will pack it away soon, but it is nice to know everything I bought works (so it seems!) before I get the propa mainboard.
September 2, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Mod complete. Well... Just putting a fan on my HBA. 😂
August 29, 2025 at 7:24 PM
It's the small things. 🤣
August 19, 2025 at 7:41 PM
I forgot I had this little gadget. Found it in one of the drawers under my bed. 😂

Can't remember why I bought it. And the USB to PWM cable is kinda neat too.

Now I just need the Framework mainboard for this new homelab. 😆 It'll be a long wait for late Q4 but will be so worth it.

I took the plunge and sent a support ticket to Framework to upgrade to the 128GB model as well. 👀
