i am a juris doctor holding career public policy expert esp. in public sector delegated governance but i am otherwise a good ol' 'berta boy (communist) he/him or they/them is fine too
when liberalism was born the only people who could vote were land owning men (capitalists) and no reform since then has really changed that since
1 reform can be reversed at will (see 2025 usa)
2 reforms don't fundamentally change power dynamics (capitalists now merely choose all the candidates)

that's the human condition is we live alongside the people who've departed! that's why you get sad or happy or whatever else when you think of them, is because they are here right now, they are part of you!

kind of want to see them pile all this badwill on the party leader only to get rugpulled a second time by the ucp choosing a new leader just in time for the election. bro just make a platform of tangible actions you'll take if elected. it can be alot of "replace danielle's bad stuff with good!"

email from JE to GM where they talk about trump's name not coming up despite having spent hours with one of the victims, who from the context seems to have come forward.
michael wolf in a pre-'16 election email tells JE that trump denying being in the house/plane could be useful leverage against him

like the capitalist class has a fundamentally different relationship to money than us such that the math on taking a longer term to have more money free now might sometimes be the actual rational move but also the money just turns into more money, they don't have the problem we do (how to get more?)

for all the "ppl on the left/centre-left are out of touch" stuff i think voters can actually see that the reactionary right is the one hyper-focusing on social issues that don't touch most folks' material conditions to the detriment of issues that do. that's why the "weird" messaging stuck too
