BNW has some problems. While the ariel fight scenes were lit, the grounded fights just doesn't have the visceral feeling like winter soldier, civil war or shang chi. Another is that its so frustratingly centrist, like its very afraid to say its political message and its so barebones
Because Thunderbolts* is guilty of a lot of things some of you are raking Brave New World over the coals with.

And I’m saying this as a fan of both.
Hot take, from a person who ADORES both movies:

Thunderbolts*, in certain circles, is rated way too high.

Brave New World, in certain circles, is rated way too low.

So if I’m following along accurately Final Reckoning opened under Thunderbolts, and cost something like twice as much but won’t inspire a single take about audience fatigue re the spy boom (which is larger than the capes boom by the by). Which is not to say it couldn’t leg out to dodged bullet.

The group that keep on blaming all problems on marvel ate coincidentally are the same goofsters who cry superhero fatigue, especially marvel fatigue.
The Lilo & Stitch discourse is hilarious because some of these people thought Marvel was the problem.

And if Marvel "died" people would support "real cinema" again.

The delusions.

It's like people ignored the past 40 years of cinema.
