As practical matter, some reporters will still use Twitter as their primary bc that’s where their sources and/or audience remains — e.g., breaking news Hill reporters and sports journalists, albeit increasingly less so in both fronts.

But to me, Bluesky remains technically better for reporting.

Video still needs to be improved, lots of technical requests on my end, and the promise of decentralization, while technically happening, hasn’t exactly rushed into existence.

But right now this is a better news reporting — and, for my work, often even *news finding* — app at the moment, full stop.
