Did White get anything to do at all? I’ve always thought it was a shame he never became a huge movie star. He’s handsome, can fight, can act (both comedy and drama)… he’s got it all! So I’m hoping they at least let him be funny or gave him a great dramatic role or something here.

Very true. And what most people don’t realize is that you can be so lucky/rich and have everything and that can all be gone in an instant. Houses burn down. Stock markets crash. Things happen that drain bank accounts. Illness or death can come knocking. Nothing is guaranteed or lasts forever.

It’s totally fine. It takes a long time to build a collection of anything. I look at release calendars for the next few months and decide, “What do I really want immediately, especially limited or boutique stuff?” and focus on that. Big studio stuff, I usually wait for sales or Black Friday, etc.

I’ve heard that a lot of people have had luck this way. Order from Shout, get a shipping confirmation within the hour. And funny enough, they had lowered their price but now upped it to $55. I’m guessing to take advantage of people cashing out their points and also panic buying.

I’ll always remember that as being one of 5 free movies we got with our first DVD player. And it was an awesome movie to show off the player.

Maybe he’s nice at the in-person events, but how you conduct yourself online and toward strangers goes a long way. Also, he supported someone who harmed a loved one of a dear friend of many on here, but a lot of people seem to ignore that, sadly. So, yeah, I don’t understand his appeal. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m just a nobody (which is fine with me), but I’ve never understood the appeal of BS. His working from custodian to film critic/journalist is certainly inspiring, but every post I’ve seen from him shows nothing but rude, abrasive, and unfriendly behavior. Where’s the “great guy” others claim?

Hell, even just slipping and breaking a limb or cracking your head can mean job loss (and losing the place you’re renting, etc.). No guaranteed time off at jobs here. At-will employment. So much wrong.

My health is bad and I’ll probably be gone sooner than later. So I treat myself and others.

…even insurance may not save you. “Nah, we won’t cover that chemo drug. Nah, we’re denying that prior authorization.” So you either die or lose everything for a CHANCE at beating your illness. You end up homeless or in a new shithole apartment with nothing just to try and live. So treat yourself!

It’s like I was saying when talking with loved ones recently: you can do everything “correctly” and it may not matter here. You could eat well, exercise, be lucky enough to have a great-paying job, own a home, save money, etc. Cancer doesn’t care and literally happens RANDOMLY. And if you get it…

Now Arrow absolutely just has to print a crapload of their versions, which I’m sure they will do after seeing this unfold. The only other issue will be if shops here can get them in decent amounts at a decent price, especially with the import tax and shipping fiasco. Hopefully so. 🙏🏻

Hopefully ABT and Killer don’t face the same problems. I haven’t bought HB, ABT, or Killer yet and I’ll probably just hold off because I don’t want to plunk down a bunch of money just to get a long delay or a cancelled order. Can’t believe they didn’t think they’d need to print that many! 🤦🏻‍♂️
