Nobody special. Just some dude… with a BlueSky account.
I was wondering… if you were traveling through outer space… I mean like you're going real fast, like the speed of light... and all of a sudden you started screaming… do you think your brain would blow up?

A lovable chimp being infected with rabies terrorizing his loved ones in their Hawaiian paradise home? Lots of fun! Miguel Torres Umba is the MVP (Most Valuable Primate?) as Ben the Chimp and the score and gore are fantastic. Check this one out!

A ★★★★ review of Primate (2025)
Ben, you’re always running here and there… …leaving a pile of bodies everywhere… Seriously, I was waiting for the usual slow, moody, modern cover of a classic song during the end credits. Or, if the p...

I’m weird, so I’ll be weird with this.

Time for my Top 8 (But Kinda 11) Movies of 2025! There are some ties and a lot of these are probably different or odd to many, but hey, so am I. 😉

Titles are eligible if they made their FULL US theatrical/VOD premiere in 2025. 🧵

Started 2025 with Karen Gillan and ended it in Oz. Not bad. 😉

Also hung out with Jason Statham, the Leprechaun, Margaret Qualley, and Mr. Bean. That would be a fun dinner party.

What do my most watched theme and nanogenre say about me, besides that I have good taste? 😉

What went on during that week in October? I didn’t watch much horror this past Halloween, either.

As for Mondays, it has to be all the Secret / Mystery movies. Those have been a fun tradition for the family. ❤️

I think those are my best numbers since using Letterboxd. Not as big as my fellow movie lovers here, but you’ve all inspired me to watch more and make more time for cinema. Thank you! ❤️

Most watched actor isn’t a surprise. Director is; I forgot about those movies. 😂

As the first day of 2026 draws to a close, I’m thankful I made it this far. Who knows what the future brings? Maybe this is the final year for me. All I know is that I’m so grateful for all of you accompanying me on my journey. I love you all! Let’s make 2026 beautiful! 🫂❤️

Got in this childhood favorite shortly before Christmas. Always loved how the super talented Robert Townsend gave us a fun, cool Black superhero movie with lots of heart and humor. Seems to already be hard to obtain (just released last month), so if you see a copy, grab it!

What is it with this year and weird sequels? It’s like they didn’t even watch the first movies. Also, it took 5 years for one of these sequels, but 70 years for the other one!

Over time, today’s become a sadder occasion that I don’t get to celebrate for many reasons.

But I want to give thanks for a special gift I cherish daily: all of you. I mean it. You all have gotten me through every day, and a difficult year. I love all of you very much. 🫂❤️

Got this in on Christmas Eve! Remember when MTV not only had music (videos), but also awesome sketch comedy like The State and this other gem, The Idiot Box? I was lucky to grab the Autographed Limited Edition, too! So cool to have this series after all these years! #TheIdiotBox @alexwinter.com

At one point, it seemed like we’d never get to own this masterpiece in decent quality… and now here it is in 4K! On top of that, I’ll be seeing it in a theater if I’m still around in a few months. What a time to be alive! #TheKiller #JohnWoo #ChowYunFat #SallyYeh #DannyLee

Got in this classic trilogy of films last week on 4K combo pack! Also seeing the first one in theaters in a few months! Should I wait until then to watch for the first time? It’s far away. Anyway, so awesome to have these in the best quality! #JohnWoo #ABetterTomorrow #ChowYunFat

Bought this for Paper Marriage, which I love. The other 2 (blind buys) are a bonus. Eureka, I love you for including the original Paper Marriage artwork! That and the original photo it’s based on are some of my favorite Maggie Cheung pieces. Perfectly captures her beauty! 😍

Got this in 2 weeks ago but just got a chance to share it with you lovely people. There’s even more to it inside like cards and posters! Wish the cards weren’t packed loose in the cases; you’ll get dented ones, guaranteed. Otherwise… COWABUNGA for this 4K set! #TMNT @arrowvideo.bsky.social

Wonderful performances by Jackman and Hudson and a good supporting cast are ultimately wasted by bad creative decisions and an absolutely horrible ending that shows the movie was chasing awards. With different choices, it could’ve been really great.

This was 4 slices of comedy heaven for me! Not only was there Rowan Atkinson, who I’ve loved all my life… but other great comedic talents like Ellie White, Sunil Patel, and Ashley Jensen! Add this to your watchlist this holiday season!

A ★★★★★ review of Man vs Baby (2025)

It contains the feel good scene of this holiday season. You know which one I’m talking about. See it on the big screen! Plus, Rohan Campbell and Ruby Modine are excellent! Lots of gore, lots of fun, and a wonderful time overall.

Sometimes, you gotta do something… and that something is be yourself, even if that means being weird, possibly annoying, and loving others with all your heart. If others don’t like or understand you, so what? Life’s too short. See you around, hopefully. ❤️

Might delete this, but I feel the need to express myself and also explain some changes those who care about me may have noticed. Post 1/2 🧵

TL;DR: I’ll always love Isabelle and Orphan, but harassment I’ve kept secret for years finally broke me. Needed to step away from it all.

At the hospital this morning. My mother is about to have major surgery. She’s one of the strongest human beings I know, but I’m still incredibly worried and haven’t been able to rest. If anyone could send her love, prayers, and positive thoughts and energy, I’d appreciate it. 🙏🏻

2 years ago today, my father passed. I’m not sure the pain will ever go away. I only hope I’m doing well enough taking care of my mom, and that he knew how hard we fought for him, loved him, and always will.

Cherish your loved ones daily. Life is about making happy memories.
