A look across Wild Woodbury DWT reserve from the roadside, these lovely ponies & piggies coming over to investigate us but also heard Cuckoo, a quick glimpse of Whitethroat plus Yellowhammer, Skylark and Linnets on a beautiful early evening.

Any experts on poo, new for us in the garden. It was under the bird feeder and we have Sika deer over the road so presumably from them?

Grotty day weather wise for taking the grandchildren out looking for fungi but did manage to see several Devil’s fingers (clathrate archeri) before we got too sodden with the rain.

A good morning starting with super views of Pallas’s Warbler and 3 Black Redstart incl. beautiful male at Flamborough, arrive at Bempton when the Red-flanked Bluetail was being ringed. No great photo but you can see why it’s so named.

Rock Lea VP, Lytchett Bay, this am high tide so limited waders, Marsh Harrier and Kingfisher best plus these beautiful cattle by the fence keeping us company.
