You are not your job, you're not how much money you have in the bank. You are not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet.
To the office the president holds, not to the president themselves.

Nah.. they've done fine for decades. It's the fact they've been weaponised that's the issue.

But also you have to balance this style of thinking with effort needed to maintain it. Who really wants to spend 3 hours dragging logs etc around to build camp after an 8 hour hike. Very few. So that's why even people who know how, sometimes don't.

It's a sad state of affairs when you find yourself idly dreaming of being an NPC in a fallout game. Just trying to live your life

So their main program, the windows operating system itself.. it's unsustainable as a licensed box product in 2025. Which was what made it popular in the first place. Quite honestly i can see the license becoming free and every feature in it a subscription.

So what do they have? Azure, which is 2nd to AWS, and they can't raise the prices too high or they'll fail to compete by pricing themselves out. And office 365. A subscription based office program that seems to have been the go to for the last 3 decades. It used to come on a disc.

Microsoft has some very large problems in its future. It can't earn from its hardware, that's other companies. Tried making phones, failed. Tried making laptops.. have you seen anyone use a Surface laptop? For a company used to software, moving into hardware is awkward at best.

When your bank account is big enough you gain hundreds in interest every day.. the small problem is, that would require liquid assets which means i'm not leveraging everything i can towards other things. Borrowing off one asset to downpayment on another.

Me? I'd prefer to be more of a Gandhi. Not own anything and have the money to travel, sleep, and eat wherever i wanted. Fancy dinner last night, mcdonald tonight? Give away the suit. I feel it would be interesting to live that way
