Last photo, my favorite photo from the day. I want to know what happened to it's ear. Was it born like that or did something happen? Also....why didn't I take a photo of the info pane to know exactly what kind of animal this is?

All of these are of a ground squirrel that was hanging around the zoo. They did not have their own exhibit, but I can never resist capturing too many photos of these guys.

It has finally arrived. I am of course now anxiously awaiting book 2. Thankfully I barely notice the passage of time anymore.

Got a autobiography/memoir (doesn't cover his whole life but a large swath of it) by Dwight Cooke. Only read 1 chapter so far because it's a library book and I needed to eat and didn't want to get the book greasy. Dedicated to his boyfriend/husband Whitin.

Some of the few photos I got, the show didn't last as long this time around. Which is good because the mosquitos were ignoring my repellent. I do have a video to upload to my instagram story, but it needs editing. Poorly recorded.

Could just be me but I think the reflectivity of the bathroom tile defeats the purpose of the privacy divider. My God this place is shiny.

It arrived! Do have to be careful, it's separating at the spine. But it's also thin and tiny so I will have what I need within a day and it can go right back.
