Hounslow Youth Counselling Service provides vital support for young people across the borough. It’s inexplicable that Hounslow Council have given them notice, out of the blue, after 38 years.

As opposition councillors, we’ll be pushing for them to reverse this decision.

Perfect Sunday for the @chiswickflowers.bsky.social Market!

Chiswick has carved out an identity as a market town within London - given how busy the High Road is today, it’s easy to see why!

A pleasure to speak in support of the Chiswick Flower Market at last night’s Licensing Panel.

We find out if the market’s licence will be renewed early next week - the council should be backing our local markets!

A classic sunny summer afternoon at the Flower Festival at St Paul’s church in Grove Park. Some fantastic displays from local Chiswick groups, and brilliant tea and cake!

Loved visiting Hogarth Youth Centre the other week to see the brilliant work being done by the team there.

Such good news that the Dukes Meadows Trust has extended its partnership with the centre - I feel privileged to work with these two community groups!

Yesterday the Leader @shansview.bsky.social and Mayor of Hounslow Council attended an event in honour of Holocaust Memorial Day at Chiswick School.

More than 250 pupils heard from Gloria Silver whose father endured horrendous atrocities during the Holocaust. #hmd #hmd25 #hmd2025

A privilege to attend today’s moving Holocaust Memorial Day event at Chiswick School - we heard from Gloria Silver about her father Tony Chuwen’s experiences of, and dramatic escape from, Polish concentration camps.

We must never forget.

Great to join the @abundancelondon.bsky.social team last night for an evening of food, drink and obelisk building (!) at the Chiswick Allotments - not bad for a team of first-timers!

News that business confidence is plummeting may come as a surprise to Hounslow Labour, who said at last week’s council meeting that concerns around the budget were “scaremongering”.

Here’s an extract from my contribution to the debate on the budget’s impact on our borough 👇
