one of my friends from college came to visit me a few years ago and saw the abundance of red and white lights radiating off the george washington bridge. she so innocently asked, "did they decorate the bridge for christmas?" no no, dear, that's just traffic stopped dead in both directions.

secondly, if i stay on here, am i going to have to stumble on nonsensical discourse about bisexual women everytime i refresh or can i be gay in peace. this is a deal breaker.

nevermind, i gave zuck too much credit thinking he wouldn't fuck it up immediately. that's on me.
skeeting my first skeet just to agree with the idea that zuck's new app is probably going to be the death knell for bluesky becoming much more than what it is right now 🙃
seeing some cope from people here about the Thread launch and i think you're too far down the federated rabbit hole if you think meta doesn't have the best chance of capturing the zeitgeist of the post-twitter landscape. they're not just starting at 3rd base, they're starting 10 feet from home
