I wrote 5,664 words today. My average as of late has been ~1,200 per writing session, so this is good going for me. If only all writing sessions were this productive!

Been doing this for a couple of years now, and find it an invaluable step in the process.
Don't offer lots of writing tips because I don't know what the heck I'm doing, but I will say a vital step in my editing process is having Word or whoever read your thing out loud. Best way I've found to catch missing words, which is one of the most common mistakes I see in the indie books I read.
