They pray & study and lead contemplative lives. Over one's life of prayer, there are saints/bishops whose lives and works speak to you & you venerate them & become close. Lots of Leos are saints. One Leo (IX) was instrumental in the the Great Schism of 1054. Perhaps this Leo will right that wrong?

Only thing that surprised me here is that pathetic Elon was left off the text (along with clueless tuned-out Golfer in Chief POTUS). I assume China is monitoring their comms. Russia probably gets it directly from the source. EVERYONE ON THAT TEXT EXCEPT Jeffrey Goldberg deserves to be fired. 2/2

AI Center for Excellence? Y'all were doing good work for the people. I'm sorry they've fired you. They're operating without any legal guardrails and thinking your AI system can practice law by rewriting the FAR. They're probably planning on eliminating and replacing the Judiciary branch to AI too.

What makes you think there will be any normal federal government jobs "when this is all over?" What makes you think there's even an "over" in the future? I want to be optimistic but... I'm not seeing it.

There are at least 219 federal departments, organizations, agencies, entities plus legislative branch and judiciary. Many haven't been decimated. Some haven't been touched. A shutdown longer than 30 days could destroy 2M Feds and they could legally fire ALL of us that way.

I will say that Chuck is correct that if the gov were to stay shut for more than 30 days, Trump and Musk would be able to RIF Feds indiscriminately under 5 CFR 351. All the GOP would have to do is hold out for another 30 days on making any movement. I don't love it but it is accurate. 🧵
