Something I've found genuinely helpful to remind myself of is that most people in public won't consciously notice the things that often make us anxious about interaction, and even of those who do, most really don't honestly care, and that's good. Helps me not worry about it so much

i think the crux of the issue is that we don't make sites for our shit anymore and just all use (insert social media platform here) so you just end up with shit constantly being seen by people who arent the intended audience, which inevitably causes issues. social media sucks, return to forum.

"how many times have you been hit on" is a HARD question for dudes a lot of the time because the answer most of us want to give is zero but the truth is we're really fucking dumb and probably didnt pick up on like 10 different times in the past 5 years we've been hit on. subtlety is difficult.
