Same here, but I have Sarcoidosis so bed isn't a choice. Strangely though, rainy days used to be the ones I chose for museums when I worked a few blocks from the MFA Boston. The somber vibe was perfect for getting lost inside and disengaged from the world outside. Being mostly empty helped too.

Talking to law enforcement without a lawyer; anything you say can *only* be used against you. If you repeat the same story 50 times in a row, doesn't matter. The one mistake you make will be used against you.

I've been seeing a lot more young women playing guitar the last few years though. I'm sensing a testosterone free comeback. Some of the rock being put out by women these days is outstanding.

My resolution every year is to wipe the slate clean when it comes to projects. My list of unfinished projects usually gets pretty long by the end of the year. I know it's just a mental game, but it works for me. I get stressed out sometimes when I'm too far behind.

I used to think Phoebe was pronounced "Foe Bee".

I had a friend growing up who used to give completely different names to characters so she could remember them better, especially with Roman or Greek gods.

I have a happy version of this. I met someone at Dragoncon I knew for a while on Facebook and my name came up and I jokingly said "oh yeah, that dork" and she DEFENDED me. It was really sweet.

Reminds me of why George RR Martin keeps using a DOS based writing program. It's so he doesn't have to deal with autocorrect.

His band is Wolgemut. It's usually a nice combination of a good crowd and they're really into the music (and a fantastic band too). He doesn't word it as free, he just says after the show with any tip, give what you can afford and you can choose one of the CDs.

I have a friend who sells CDs at shows for tips, whatever you can afford. He does pretty well that way. Some people give $1, some $20. Wording it as "any tip, free CD" seems to hit a good nerve. He's said it comes out about the same a it did 20 years ago.
