Interestingly there's a passage similiar to this problem in the book The Open Society & Its Enemies (where the tolerance paradox is from):
The second criticism is more important. The biological naturalist assumes that he can derive his norms from the natural laws which determine the conditions of health, etc., if he does not naïvely believe that we need adopt no norms whatever but simply live according to the ‘laws of nature’. He overlooks the fact that he makes a choice, a decision; that it is possible that some other people cherish certain things more than their health (for instance, the many who have consciously risked their lives for medical research). And he is therefore mistaken if he believes that he has not made a decision, or that he has derived his norms from biological laws.

Bonus 1: Rebuking 2 of the favorite GC arguments: Nazis didn't intern trans people in the KZs & kept handing out Transvestitenscheine (The historical quote in point 4 also states the practice in past tense).
Then, for the first time new categories of prisoners were added for the first time: pimps and homosexuals. The Hamburg police authority wrote on 25. 9. 1933: "In order to get dangerous antisocial pimping elements back to work, a general order has been given to assign them to the Wittmoor concentration camp for labor. "And Hamburg's Public Prosecutor General found "that the transfer of pimps to the Wittmoor to the Wittmoor camp instead of pre-trial detention was to be welcomed. "Another step in this direction was taken on November 13, 1933 at a presidential meeting of the Internal Administration, in which the police authorities were requested "to pay particular attention to transvestites and, if necessary, to transfer them to the concentration camp." Henning Timpke, in Geschichte der Konzentrationslager, 1970, pg. 18 Gerd Böhnke's file contains a letter from Strewe, dated March 28, 1934. It confirms that the homosexuality unit was tasked with monitoring individuals perceived as transvestites and answers a question that has been debated in research: Were transvestite certificates still issued under Nazi rule? "A so-called transvestite certificate, such as those previously issued by my office, cannot be issued, however, as such certificates are no longer issued for fundamental reasons." The letter suggests that the issuance of transvestite certificates in Berlin had now definitively ceased. This correlates with the statement by the transmasculine Ernst Kubbe that his certificate was revoked in 1933. As late as 1934, the Hamburg Police Headquarters issued a "passport with [...] a female image" to the drag artist Müller. A Hamburg file reveals that the responsible criminal inspector, Rudolf Förster, was still issuing transvestite permits in 1936. These were soon revoked, however, presumably because in 1936, with the establishment of the Reich Central Office for Homosexuality and Abortion, the relevant Gestapo special unit also became active in Hamburg, effectively ending Förster's position of power. Käte Rogalli testified that her "certificate to wear women's clothing" had also been revoked in 1933. Rogalli's denunciation by her wife at the end of 1936 provided the Berlin Gestapo with a welcome pretext to arrest her. They referred it to the Schöneberg Magistrates' Court, which rejected the application in early March 1933. After an appeal, the case ended up in the second chamber of the Berlin Regional Court. The fact that the decision was again negative was mainly due to the medical reports commissioned for the proceedings by two transphobic Charité doctors. In his "gynaecological report", the head of the Charité's gynaecological clinic, Dr Georg August Wagner, wrote: "Castration does not make a man a woman." Charité psychiatrist Jürg Zutt provided the psychiatric report. In a survey on genital-altering operations in the early 1950s, he said that Charlaque's case had left him with "astonishment and… (Text continued in next picture.) …disgust". In his expert opinion, he describes her identity as a "pseudological stance". She is to be "regarded as male, just as she was at birth". Charlaque wrote to the regional court on 29 September 1933, two months after the expert consultation with Zutt: "I reject Dr Zundt [Zutt] because he and Prof. Wagner are my enemies in terms of their political views. She explains desperately: "If I do not receive the document within a week, the untenable circumstances will force me to take my own life. If I were a so-called German Christian, everything would probably already be settled. If she had had the opportunity to continue her proceedings in Berlin, they would probably have ended up with Globke and been rejected, as Charlaque was Jewish. After all, Globke had already been unofficially practising his anti-Semitic policy on name changes before 25 June 1934. But it didn't come to that: in May 1934, Charlaque fled to Czechoslovakia. In Berlin and other large cities, it was quite common to issue so-called transvestite permits; this meant that male homosexuals were granted official permission to wear women's clothing in public, and likewise, no objection was raised against women wearing men's clothing in public. It is obvious that this significantly promoted homosexual intercourse in general, especially same-sex prostitution. The authorities did not object to the wearing of women's clothing in public, and likewise did not object to women wearing men's clothing. Dr. jur. No Nut November fits perfectly into one of the main theses of the book on the fascist psyche, Male Fantasies, I'm currently reading:
Two basic types of bodies exemplify the corporal metaphysics at the heart of fascist perception. On the one side there is the soft, fluid, and ultimately liquid female body which is a quintessentially negative "Other" lurking inside the male body. It is the subversive source of pleasure or pain which must be expurgated or sealed off. On the other there is the hard, organized, phallic body devoid of all internal viscera which finds its apotheosis in the machine. This body-machine is the acknowledged "utopia" of the fascist warrior. "The new man is a man whose physique has been machinized, his psyche eliminated" (p. 162). In the first volume, the fear and revulsion of the feminine manifests itself in the incessant invocation of metaphors of an engulfing fluid, or flood, in the "red tide," "street of blood," "bursting earth," and in dirt, effluvia, streams, lava, and emissions of all sorts. In the second volume this visceral analysis is fleshed out to include the male"physis" — the body as a mechanism for eluding the liquid, for incorporating or repelling undesired emotions, thoughts, longings. The desire of the male ego is to be freed from all that can be identified with the female body: with liquidity, with warmth, and above all with a sensuality that is responsive to other human beings. It produces a politics of "steel hard" (Jiinger's term) men who "struggle against the mass and femininity as a struggle to contain the soldier male's fear of the desiring production of his own unconscious" (p. 6). The preoccupation of the warrior with the perimeters of the body is a kind of disemboweled, disembodied, dis-sensuality, what we might call "sensuous anti-sensualism."

Started the book Männerphantasien by Klaus Theweleit (Eng.ed. Male Fantasies 1987), a study on the psychology of the members of the proto-fascist paramilitaries that later formed the Nazis & around pg. 100 he lists subconscious fears, he found these men most often had & it checks out. Eng. in alt.
