Oh nice! It’s sounds like we had a pretty similar method

I gotta say, watching W, OOOs and Fourze back to back was super rewarding

Not yet! But it’s on my list. I’ve been bouncing around Hesei phase 1/2 and Reiwa

I started with W -> Zero One -> OOO’s -> Fourze -> Gaim -> Kuuga -> Build

As you can see a bit all over the place. My plan going forward Ryuki -> Faiz -> Geats -> Gavv

For my closing thoughts, this was an excellent series and it deserves all the praise it gets. It’s 50/50 coin flip as to whether I like this or W more

So far I think Evolt has been my favourite antagonist. You really get a sense of how much of manipulator he is throughout the whole series. While his motives were bland his acting and characterisation more than made up for it

Gentoku was such a pleasant surprise. Similar to Kazami seeing his journey was fulfilling but unlike with Kazami who settled in very quickly, Gentoku felt like he was ever evolving. There was always another angle to explore. I don’t want to say too much because I’ll end up talking about spoilers

I will say though I think the way they handle his attraction to Misora could’ve been handled with more tact, it felt a bit juvenile for a dude who is in his late 20’s. Maybe that’s the point, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of it.

Oh boy, Kazami. I love this man, his journey from foe to friend was really well done. You can tell how much he really does care about his team even if he does try to come off all cool and aloof. The way he and Banjou poke fun at each other really reminds me Zoro and Sanji from One Piece.

I really like Sawa, the sister-like relationship she has with Misora is very sweet. Watching her struggle to reconcile her mission with the greater good of the Team Build was such an amazing roller coaster, you could tell how conflicted she was early on, but she comes into her own and thrives

Case in point, despite her world literally falling apart around her she still pushes through and does everything she can to help. She compliments Sento and Banjou very well and clashes with Kazamin and Gentoku in the funniest way possible

I will say one of his forms did feel like it came out of no-where but on the whole. His chemistry with Sento was very well fleshed out

It took me some episodes to warm up to Misora but she really comes into her own. She has such a big heart and is at the centre of a lot of the emotional points.

The way he overcomes betrayals and grief was so real

I love Banjou so much. Yeah on the surface he is a hot tempered muscle head but seeing him mature into a Kamen Rider that will fight for love and peace was truly satisfying.

Sento was such a captivating MC. Something Rider does so well is really capture the humanity. I wanted to say that despite suffering from amnesia his plight was so personable. But I think it was because of his amnesia that he was able to build himself into someone with more humanity.

I love this series so much, for me what really makes this series are the characters. From main characters, supporting casts and antagonist I was enthralled by the characterisation and interactions between all of them. They balances their quirks drama so well
