I love movies, video games, books, both comic and otherwise. And I'm a generally left leaning social Democrat. If you're cool with talking about that kinda stuff, then you'll dig what I have to say here.

Oh, and #SometimesIWriteStuff
There are no wrong answers

Just reminds me how bad I am at Mega Man. I have all the games available on Series X and haven't beaten a one.

Unions don't have the teeth they used to. I think that was Reagan's doing. If they want to survive, they'll need the power and authority they formerly possessed. I hear all the time about how Unions are bad. This propaganda needs to stop. Right to Work had me snowed for years. Not anymore.

Sounds like a hell of a deal. Haven't really gotten into TNG, but among Trekkies I'm already persona non grata as a Voyager fan.

On today's episode of "You Won't Believe This Stupid Shit!"

I think I only watched like, half myself. Hearing about the creator's supposed politics kinda soured it for me.

While I agree that "how it was" isn't good enough, I don't know that tearing it all down and building something new is the answer. Large-scale governmental reform takes time. What we have works if we can root out the corrupt influence money has had on our system.

Because it's the little things that keep us moving forward as the world seems to fall apart around us. I know the holiday season can be rough, God knows it is for me. But win where you can, work on yourself, nurture your passions, and I promise we'll make it through. I love you all.

Staying alive through all that means something. So even if you didn't meet your goals this year, you're still here. And that means something. Work on your passions when and where you can. Depression wins some days, but you gotta take the wins where you can. Write, draw, make yourself happy.

Your goals are still there to meet. So what if you missed a self-imposed deadline? You make all the rules in this life. Trust me, just keeping your head above water is an achievement in and of itself. Rent's too damned high, groceries are through the roof, wages are stagnant. It sucks ass man.

That's not really a problem, since the economy is such a shit show that I have no money for gift shopping. I miss being able to go all out for the Holidays for my friends and family.

My views on piracy are complicated. If I have a legal way to access content, games, audiobooks, what have you, then I will. But if, for instance, the online store is no longer available, like say, the Xbox Live Arcade, then let the black flag fly.

I gotta say, I appreciate your contributions to my feed. Lesser known comics deserve exposure, and you see to it that interesting stories see the light of day

Ah, fair enough. I wondered if there was some deep dark history revolving around Archie I didn't know about. My aunt gave me a box full of digest magazines as a kid. It was my first real exposure to comics. I'm trying to collect Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog run as well as their Horror imprint books.

I can't help but ask, what's wrong with Archie? I feel like I'm missing context here.

I don't necessarily have a problem with faith in and of itself. The problem is that people use faith as justification to do terrible things. I doubt Jesus would have been all that cool with the Crusades. Gott Mit Uns was on the belt buckle of every Nazi. Terrible people doing terrible things.

Spice is awesome! I love their videos.

I was bummed to miss Lorwyn on the first go-round. So I'm actually pretty stoked for this release. Especially now that we have dual-faced modal cards. Day/Night would be more fitting, but people hated that mechanic in Innistrad.

I know I would have had a vastly improved experience in gym class if I wasn't nervous about being made fun of in the showers. Let things become Unisex, follow Europe's footsteps, and you'll see these hangups vanish in a generation or two.

Same thing with locker rooms. If you're worried about kids seeing each other naked, I get you. But that's a simple fix too. Private changing rooms and stall showers. Then no one's getting naked around each other. That's as good for cis body issues as it is trans folks.
