I watched a discussion on a cable news show the Kerrville flood. One of the guests argued that FEMA has no function other than to assist states after a disaster. It upsets me to see such ignorance promulgated, arguing that FEMA should be shut down leaving disaster relief functions left to states

The other day I saw for the first time a cybertruck carrying something in the bed, a sofa. Went by too fast to take a pic.

The other day I saw for the first time a cybertruck carrying something in the bed, a sofa. Went by too fast to take a pic.
All fed. employees were sent an email asking them to respond and document what they did last week, + weekly. Assume avg pay: $60K ($0.50/min), all 3M fed emp responding, just five min to respond, that will cost US taxpayers at least $7.5M per week. After a year, $390B. Government efficiency at work
