There was some improvement, but the idea that younger generations are doing well relative to earlier generations just doesn’t align with wealth/wage trends. The increase wasn’t enough to overcome the flat wages for decades or the extreme wealth inequality where the bottom 50% only owns 3% of wealth.

This data seems to contradict your article and your post.

You’re not disagreeing with me but with established economic understanding of what a mixed economy is. You have an aversion to the word “socialism” and would rather give that portion of our economy a different name because accepting that name would mean your assumptions about socialism are wrong.

My math is not wrong. Here’s the math for specifically black males in 2021. 0.047% committed murder in 2021. 99.95% of black males did not commit murder in 2021. Or any other year (the percentage is fairly consistent). You’ve simply been conditioned with manipulated data to believe otherwise.

The numbers you provided are wrong according to the FBI numbers I just verified. And your data rows make no sense relative to one another. Here is the breakdown which shows that the total per 100k is ~24. And the % of blacks who murdered in 2021 is a tiny fraction of 1%.

You don’t seem to understand much at all. You were just given the tax rates and years. Now compare them to these graphs showing wealth inequality over time.

It already happened in my lifetime. Naysayers are half the problem and they’re worse than the people who are against it because the people who are against it are outnumbered. You’re the problem.

Nothing was wrong with the US system before shifting the cost burden to individuals. Nothing you presented proves the shift was beneficial to students or directly related to increased earnings. In fact, US wages stagnated for the bottom 90% from the 80s onwards while income inequality skyrocketed.

When do you think it will be time to abandon the center-right economic strategy of Dem leadership since it allowed fascism to root and blossom? Does this extreme wealth inequality look good to you?
October 16, 2025 at 7:13 PM
1) FDR’s New Deal was the true center. Immediately after ND protections were dismantled, extreme wealth inequality came roaring back, wages for 90% of Americans flatlined, the cost burden of public services like higher education was shifted to the individual at higher rates.

This quote fits this moment so well.

Centrists in both parties are really butt hurt right now because their pro corporate politics did indeed lead to fascism. They really want it to be someone else’s fault, but it is theirs to own. They kept pushing economics further and further right until private power dismantled our democracy.

And this is where the Dem Party screwed up big time by helping to deregulate New Deal firewalls against outsized private power. The Dems in Congress overwhelmingly voted to deregulate banks, media, investing, and defanged antitrust. They abandoned this rule of thumb:

My post literally qualifies it with the word “much”. Every other prog economic win up to LBJ was to complete the ideals of the New Deal. Clintons “third-way” abandoned it and is now losing social progress, too, while centrists float the idea of throwing vulnerable coalition members under the bus.

lol. I’m not trying to convince you because you are not open to being convinced. Your initial overly confident and ridiculous post was a sign you weren’t serious about dialog. I honestly think you’re a fool masquerading as “pragmatic”. This interaction isn’t for your benefit. It’s for others.

lol. It’s not what I consider unlawful, it’s what a federal judge considers unlawful in relation to the Posse Comitatus Act.
