A great example of identifying barriers to novel #EMS program implementation. Durham EMS ided logistics and training issues, two issues I’ve found problematic in other novel #prehospital programs. The magic in buprenorphine inductions when challenges were solved! #implementationscience #NAEMSP2025

Problem isn’t learners. 85% learners thought DEI ed vital. 78% support DEI ed. 60% applied learned techniques during training. 56% intended to use them in personal lives. IMO: Problem is with institutions who fail to recognize intolerance and prejudice. #NAEMSP2025
