I am also currently working on a chapter for a collection of essay that explores the complexity of the Irish as occupying the position of both the oppressor and the oppressed, at different times and in different locations.

I am very familiar with the history of racist stereotypes, as are most Irish people! I also have a Masters in Irish Studies, so don't need the tutorial.

I know I'm wasting my time but I looked at this dude's profile and he obviously positioned himself as being open-minded, so the casual anti-Irish racism we see, particularly in America, really grinds my gears!
