Every chance I get, I give LAB GIRL to a buddying scientist as either a graduation or a moving-to-the-next-stage present. And they love it! There are other books I’ve gifted but yours has been my favorite to give

Every time I take students to the beach to go sampling we have to drive through marshes first, always a great opportunity for “Hey guys! Smell that? What do you think it is?”

I know!!! So crazy that they look real and you have to double check to find out that they are not. Becoming very common practice unfortunately… ☹️
