Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Incredibly hard to navigate mental health rn. Especially when I'm expressing my feelings and being met with the same silence that's pushed me into this state of mind in the first place. Thank fuck I'm managing to hold onto my desire to craft things, otherwise I'd be just completely gone.

I NEED more creators, ie on youtube or otherwise, to be explicitly direct about not using AI.
There's a few channels on youtube I watch where they say in the description or even on-screen that they do not use AI, and right now, unless I see that, I can't be sure

I had the best and the most emotional time cosplaying as #papaperpetua at #FTLOH yesterday. Met some icons cosplaying as a nameless ghoul and secondo, secondo was lovely and completely nerded out with me over #GhostTheBand for aaaages. My heart is so full.
