(1/2) A little snippet peek at my upcoming comic, Creaky. This is my character Sully's story, who's lost his footing in life, and is barely surviving on the streets. Some kindness from an old acquaintance after he finds a kitten in a dumpster might be just the dose of hope he needs.

Two panels in a comic, in the first a girl is standing and laughing with her arms crossed. shes saying 'and take and shower, I know its a lifestyle thing, but you stink!' A boy with a mohawk dressed in a ratty shirt and a denim jacket is laughing and moving away from her. hes saying 'haha ok ok, don't twist my arm. it ain't a lifestyle choice, i wanna claw my skin off all the time.' In the next panel we see a close up profile of his face with what looks like dust and nits floating off him. hes smiling wistfully and saying 'i'm always so itchy.' Three panels on this page. The first is a close up of his eyes, hes crying and you can see clearly he has scars on his eye and is half blind. He sighs. In the second image hes pulling off his shirt in a pained way, like hes peeling off a second layer of skin. In the final panel, hes standing, only his stomach and arms are visible, covering his chest in a self conscious way, a giant ragged scar is visible across his stomach. Three panels on this page. In the first one, he twists the shower on. We see his back and his shoulders drop as the water hits him, he has a badly done tattoo of angel wings on one of his shoulders. In the last panel, he crouches down and covers his head with his arms and sobs on the shower floor.

Caro's birthday is on halloween, but their parents always made them choose something pretty instead of scary. They chose angel cuz its almost like a ghost right? if angel not scary...than why say be not afraid? i'm sure there's a troublemaker right around the corner with a scheme to save the day!🎃

He says 'hey Angel Eyes. it's been a while.' Caro is covering their mouth and blushing with stars around them. they are listening to him speak. he says 'I heard your show and I thought I'd give you a call. I know it's been forever, sorry about it. life got in the way. remember how we danced in that parking lot in '82? I think about it a lot. I think about you a lot.' in the second panel we can see his scars while he speaks. 'anyway, I'll stop taking up your time, babe. proud of you, big famous radio host.
