I think also as I’ve gotten older, I’ve bought the nicer jams, peanut butters and such, I want to taste those - butter just doesn’t work with them for me.
Happily have buttered toast on its own, or jam toast on its own.

You're here trying to start your journey, you want to write about something with passion, and there's all these older heads and competitors who talk shit about you.
They don't want to establish connections.

I also started games writing at the same time that I studied - not that I ever planned on making a fully-fledged career out of it, because I could see similarities in the industries.
There wasn't ever going to be much money in it, because it was all profit-driven.

The FTV industry in Aus is full of old heads and profiteers - people who have held jobs for so long they don't want to relinquish to the new generations, and those who see it as a profit-churning model. Neither of which are good for the industry.
