A couple of my favorite signs from today. It was a great turn out for democracy.

#booksky, help us stop this bill. Any person reading, selling, or writing romantasy falls under this bill. Romantasy would be a felony in Oklahoma under SB 593. If it is about preventing abuse then why amend this existing law to include “obscene material”?

Bill text defining “obscene”. Obscene means any performance or depiction, in any form or any medium, if the material when taken as a whole: A. Appeals to the prurient interest in sex as determined by the average person applying the contemporary standards if their community, B. Depicts, represents, or displays sexually explicit conduct in a patently offensive way, and C. A reasonable person would find the material or performance lacks serious literary, artistic, educational, political or scientific value.
