Rae has two LP songs on his playlist (and thus he'd be them); "1Stp Klosr (feat. Jonathan Davis)" and "Heavy Is The Crown."
I'll explain down below as to why it's these two songs since I overthink everything, including playlists. (1/4)
Due to him being sold into slavery as a kid, Rae wasn't allowed a luxury such as a hobby. He tried picking some up, which resulted in many severe punishments. Eventually, however, he learned to hide away a journal in which he kept notes and began to draw. (1/5)
Being put in a situation that makes him overwhelmed/flustered makes Rae sulk—he hates not being in control of his emotions (except in battle) and thus often sulks and retreats.
It's easy for others to smoothen out his mood again, but it's just as easy to aggravate him further.
I'd say Rae's RL equivalent is the Australian magpie—they're beautiful singers, but recklessly vicious and a danger to anyone that comes to close to them. The colours vaguely fit too.
His in-universe equivalent would be a 6-eyed raven, which my DM made his patron's spies...
Unsurprisingly, Rae sees beauty in strength, mentally and physically.
Many things relating to strength tell Rae more of a person than their mouth might ever will, and he loves piecing together these details that make up a person, good and bad. (1/3)
Severely.
Grief creeps up on Rae like a disease of the mind that never seems to want to heal. He mostly suppresses it, but memories/reminders of people he's lost can easily trigger waves of nausea for him. Most of the time this results in episodic depression and/or drunken stupors.
Rae mainly embodies wrath; his long-lasting desire for vengeance and the resulting loss of control/anger that often comes with it are extreme signs of wrath.
That said, gluttony and greed go hand in hand with him and are strong contenders too, as is pride. And let's not forget lust.
At the beginning of the tadfool adventure Rae was mostly frustrated. Problems he can't solve and solutions he can't find within the span of a tenday make him overthink, which turns into frustration. He couldn't plan ahead either—a surefire source for more annoyance. (1/3)
Rae can be stubborn when it comes to fields he's knowledgable in or when his principles are under fire. He loves discussions and isn't afraid to voice his opinions.
He's quick to see reason if his opposite's arguments are valid though, especially when it comes to plans/strategies.
Despite Rae's appetite for sex, he tries to find a middle between indulging and measuring himself. When alone, this often means he'll meditate to thwart growing desires.
If it's been too long, however, he does pleasure himself, but it's a very slow and teasing process. (1/2)
Rae'd lose friends and has lost some over his "favourite" topic: religion!
He will die on the hill that gods are worthless and far more conniving than any devil or mortal will ever be. Considering how many people in Toril believe or even worship some god/deity, well... 💀
