I mean, we all do this in some situations. We love having our thought-terminating clichés to protect us against discomfort.

Anyhow, I find it hilarious that Ian is just 100% along for the ride in a story about me trying to pick up a cute boy that wasn't him, but takes umbrage with said boy for letting me down musically.
