So somebody else with a similar name to mine apparently owed a debt in 2015 for about $500. I started getting communications about a year ago from a debt collection agency (it’s real, and really from them, I’m confident) demanding I pay it. If you look at the small print, it points out two things.

You do realise you can go into your Meta account and download EVERYTHING (including every photo/image) you have ever posted on Facebook and Instagram don’t you! Even every comment you wrote. It’s delivered as a big ZIP file. Once you have it then you can delete all your accounts.
