I want to hear from people about tariffs impact people's ability to get their meds + medical devices for @motherjones.com. My signal is @juliametraux.49 and my email is jmetraux@motherjones.com. I am Mother Jones' disability reporter.

The most ridiculous part about trump brand fascism is how completely clueless they all are

Keep saying creepy! Call them Musk's bloodboys! This is better!

Literally if you are a reporter with any kind of a backbone, you should take Elon musk’s threats as a signal to be even more fucking annoying
"SENT VIA X: @elonmusk"

FOIA his Twitter DMs
Interim US attorney Ed Martin, whose office just fired a bunch of J6 prosecutors, is now telling Elon Musk they will prosecute anyone who "targets" DOGE employees. Presumably this is in response to a Wired article naming some, and a protest at OPM that occurred yesterday.

if I understand American politics correctly, progressivism is something that requires 60 senate votes to work, while national conservatism doesn’t require any votes at all

Smaller pubs are doing great work on individual bands of looters right now — Wired is all over the Musk stuff, and Rolling Stone has been great with the shit that most closely aligns with formal WH/Miller — but a less subservient press would be mapping out the connections of the heists in real time.

Somehow the gop can be complete obstructionists every time they’re in the minority but dems apparently can only write stern letters and hope we’ll have elections in 2 years?
Val Hoyle and Jeff Merkley had a town hall on the coast today and they’d like someone to fix this mess in the next election. Like… what are we doing here, folks?

Hey #kidlit illustrators, I'm looking for an artist who can capture apartment-life in an urban setting for a beginning reader series with a vibrant ensemble cast and a grayscale interior.

Respond here with images and a link to your folio.

Please no DMs. Agents are welcome to email.
