It shows just how incompetent the regime really is, they try and help a murderer, strike 1, so they put out some story about him to help that inadvertently doxes him, strike 2, and doesn't help him, strike 3, and exposes their ack of effective policy that he was in that situation, strike 4.

I didn't expect this damaged chrysalis to survive but I brought it inside to protect it from the cold just in case. Yesterday I went to turn off the lights in my orchid cabinet and got a surprise! I released him a little while ago.

My second successful monarch release of 2025, in Baton Rouge, La, both in December. I have one remaining chrysalis, which I noticed is damaged, so I brought it inside. Tonight I noticed it wasn't looking good; I'm not hopeful.

It took more than a day for this monarch to open. I hope it finds a sufficient food source, I still have 2 chrysalises hanging and a caterpillar trying to sustain itself on what's left of the milkweed after a short freeze. Baton Rouge, La.
