SpaceX is less than half of his net worth, so it wouldn’t even bankrupt him.
Elon would close SpaceX and move to a different country before allowing a government to own and run SpaceX.

Nationalizing SpaceX would be the biggest shot in your own foot in history.

Elon paid 11 billion in taxes in 2021 after exercising stock options.

If his employees feel they are being treated poorly they are free to quit and work elsewhere. It’s a free country.

An incredible feat considering it doesn’t need to spend any time being transported from the landing zone, back to the pad. It will be a rapidly reusable booster, compared to BO New Glenn.

So, the competition of heavy lift to LEO is still not quite there.
January 24, 2026 at 6:43 PM
Not quite. Blue Origin now has a reusable booster, like Falcon 9 has had for the past 10 years. However, no one will have a reusable second stage that Starship is trying to be.

Also, even if starship isn’t reusable, the super heavy booster landing at the same tower that it launches from is;

Crew dragon is the safest capsule in operation today. There has never been a “fireball on the last trip”.
And they have been reused multiple times now.

Are you ignorant or just stupid? Russian has been saying this since the start of the special operation.
January 20, 2026 at 3:01 PM
If the USA helps out Ukraine too much, Russia will retaliate. It’s elementary really.

Or, just sell the frozen wasteland that doesn’t provide any value to your nation.

* flying around the moon. To land and build a base on the moon will require SpaceX Starships.

When SLS SRB exploded in test bench in June, it cost ~$300M.
When Starship fails in space it costs less than $200M.

SpaceX uses different development method. So far they have managed to deliver up to 90% cheaper than the next rocket developer.

You couldn’t afford a Tesla anyway lol.

And boycotting SpaceX would result in you being taxed more so the government can pay the next highest bidder to maybe launch public service satellites.

What percentage of satellites is government vs Starlink

I don’t think it’s a Perfect analogy. The Venezuelan army probably isn’t going to put up much of a fight

Why are you such a beta male? Pronouns in your username, boycotts of soccer, denouncing the freeing of millions of people who were under the rule of a murderous fascist, etc.

What’s next, you gonna say you loved Hugo Chavez and communism?
