Last time I was there I hired a Charichari hire bike & buzzed around for a few hours. Main roads felt a bit sketchy, but parks everywhere, neighbourhood roads super quiet. Pavements are often shared space on main roads, good sharing from cycle users I saw.

We spent 5 years talking and advocating for LTNs in our borough, they were just made permanent. They are the largest ever intervention in favour of active travel in London. Outcomes were dramatic. Local support was widespread, but muted. Protests were noisy, and faded fast. I’m so glad it’s done.
