We need this and a whole bunch of new lines and extensions in Queens and Brooklyn, and improvements to commuter rail so that neighborhoods like this can be considered truly transit accessible, not just railroad commuters but otherwise car-dominated.

I was thinking the other day that it would be cool if it went past Jackson Heights and could have a final station and maybe a mini-yard in Woodside, right before the NEC joins the ROW to the north.

Would have to work on pedestrian connectivity a bit, but that could also be a benefit.

As a non-student, I was going to cut through the campus recently since it used to be a pleasant walk, but because of the checkpoints I ended up having to go the long way around on a street where, between piles of trash and the checkpoints sticking out, there was basically nowhere to walk.

I'm not sure but I think it shows up this way because the quoted person blocked Jamelle, not because of a block between the quoted person and me.

The block on Bluesky basically prevents all engagement by the person you've blocked.
