IT’S AUKEY!?
Fanttik, the ubiquitous gadget brand, started as a reset after parent company Aukey was banned from Amazon for review fraud. It’s since built its business to astonishing heights by paying over 31,000 TikTokers to hype screwdrivers. Wild stuff in our story: www.theverge.com/report/82926...

Probably one of my favorite things since getting a pixel fold has been comment coming to the Google Play store before the Apple app store.

One underrated Android feature I’ve come to appreciate is the work profile. My company installs it, and with a single tap, I can disable the entire thing on weekends. No notifications. It’s such a clean boundary between work and personal life — something iOS’s focus modes never quite nail for me.

I use voice memos constantly and rely on the transcript to organize my thoughts in ChatGPT.

The process on my iPhone is straightforward: record in the native Voice Memos app, grab the transcript, and copy it straight into ChatGPT.

Just had our first family stay at a resort booked through Amex Travel and it was awesome. Early check-in and late checkout made travel with a kid stress-free. The $100 credit covered lunch, and free breakfast kept our little one fueled all day. Can’t wait for that next $300 credit! #AmexTravel

Anyone else with a cellular Apple Watch see texts go out as RCS instead of iMessage when away from their iPhone? My wife’s on iPhone too, but if I’m only on watch cellular it defaults to RCS. Bug or setup issue? #AppleWatch

Apple letting 2FA codes from texts work in apps outside of Safari is one of my favorite parts of iOS 26 and macOS Taco. Funny thing is, it also gives me one less reason to use Safari, since that used to be the main reason I stuck with it.

It’s about time banks of all places started implementing passkeys.

What other banks have it? So far Wells Fargo is the only one of my other banks that offer it.

Rearranged my setup as I catch up on work emails after being out for a few weeks.

Going to switch from my ultrawide to this 32inch LG 4K monitor. Everything is so crispy!

I still chuckle every time I remember that I get Peacock for free through Instacart+, which I got for free through my Chase Sapphire Reserve, which is definitely not free.

Crap, I’m really overpaying for Peacock, aren’t I?

Not sure why I get in my feels each time a read-later app goes away. Anyway, are the alternatives I would suggest for folks impacted by Pocket shutting down.

I’m planning my next trip using Mind Trip and it’s been a great experience thus far! AI supported travel planning is one of those use cases that just makes sense and it’s good to see something out there that puts it to good use.

Tried OpenAI's Operator. I see the potential, but right now, it's painful watching a computer fumble through something I could do faster myself.

Have you seen it handle anything useful without needing constant babysitting?

Just downloaded some iPad apps to use on my Mac thinking it would be fine. It's fine. Not a great experience, but a fine one.
